Sadike ginka in japonskega koprivovca so vzgojene iz semen dreves, ki so rasla v neposredni bli\u017eini epicentra atomske eksplozije in so kljub vsemu pre\u017eivela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O tej izjemni zgodbi je najprej poro\u010dal <strong>MMC RTV Slovenija<\/strong>, kjer so poudarili, da drevesa, ki jih danes skrbno gojijo v Botani\u010dnem vrtu Univerze v Ljubljani, izvirajo iz semen drevesa, ki je eksplozijo pre\u017eivelo v radiju enega kilometra od sredi\u0161\u010da udara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;To je bilo najbli\u017eje pre\u017eivelo drevo. Semena smo prejeli iz Japonske leta 2013, po zaslugi pobudnika \u0160in-I\u010dija Uje z Univerze v Hiro\u0161imi,&#8221; je za RTV SLO povedal vodja vrta <strong>Jo\u017ee Bavcon<\/strong>. &#8220;Iz njih smo vzgojili devet dreves ginka in 18 japonskih koprivovcev. Prva drevesa \u017ee rastejo ob fakultetah na Ve\u010dni poti, ve\u010dja pa bodo posadili v kampusu Livade v Izoli.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ginko je sicer znan kot ena najbolj odpornih vrst na svetu \u2013 pre\u017eivel je izumrtje dinozavrov in ledene dobe. Njegova sposobnost pre\u017eivetja atomske eksplozije pa je utrdila njegov status simbola vitalnosti in miru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zasaditev teh dreves je tudi izraz sodelovanja med Japonsko in Slovenijo.
